Description
Old Path White Clouds
Old Path White Clouds presents the profound life and timeless teachings of Gautama Buddha in a deeply moving narrative. Drawn directly from 24 Pali, Sanskrit, and Chinese sources, and retold by renowned Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh in his inimitably beautiful and gentle style, Old Path White Clouds traces the Buddha’s extraordinary journey slowly over the course of eighty years. The story unfolds partly through the fresh, innocent eyes of Svasti, the buffalo boy, and partly through the deep, compassionate perspective of the Buddha himself.
Old Path White Clouds is widely celebrated as a modern classic of spiritual and religious literature. By weaving historical accuracy with profound poetic grace, the book makes the Buddha's core teachings on love, understanding, and liberation deeply accessible to readers today.
Whether you are seeking spiritual depth, historical insight, or practical wisdom for daily living, this masterpiece offers an unforgettable window into the life of one of history's most influential teachers.
