As Good As Dead

Pip Fitz-Amobi is still deeply haunted by how her previous investigation came to a terrifying close. As she prepares to pack her bags and leave for Cambridge University, a dangerous new mystery lands right at her doorstep—only this time, the target is Pip herself. Accustomed to random internet hate, one recurring threat suddenly catches her attention: someone persistently asking who will look for her when she is the one who disappears. The danger quickly escalates from cyberspace to the real world when Pip realizes she has a stalker watching her every move, even knowing where she lives.

When local authorities refuse to take her concerns seriously, Pip begins investigating on her own and uncovers unsettling links between her stalker and a local serial killer who has been locked behind bars for six years. However, her sharp instincts tell her the wrong man was convicted, and she is As Good As Dead if she cannot prove it before time runs out. Trapped in a high-stakes, deadly game where her entire life is on the line, Pip realizes everything in her hometown is coming full circle. Knowing she is As Good As Dead unless she uncovers the truth, Pip must push past her fears because she is As Good As Dead if she fails to solve the final puzzle before she vanishes forever.
