A Flicker in the Dark

A Flicker in the Dark plunges you into a chilling psychological thriller about a woman haunted by her past. Chloe Davis was just twelve years old when her world shattered: her beloved father was arrested and exposed as a notorious serial killer responsible for the disappearance of multiple teenage girls in the Louisiana swamps. Though he was locked away forever, the bodies were never found, leaving a permanent scar on Chloe's life.

A Flicker in the Dark follows Chloe years later as she tries to move on. Now a respected psychologist in Baton Rouge with a loving fiancé, she has finally built a semblance of peace. Yet, she still struggles with a constant, ticking paranoia that her dark history could catch up to her at any second—and her worst fears are about to become reality.

A Flicker in the Dark explodes into suspense right on the anniversary of her father’s horrific crimes, when a local teenage girl suddenly goes missing. As chilling similarities emerge, the nightmare begins all over again. Hailed as an instant New York Times bestseller and a Sunday Times Thriller of the Year, soon to be a major TV series developed by Emma Stone, this cunningly plotted debut is a must-read for fans of edge-of-your-seat suspense.
