Me Before You

Dive into an emotionally gripping and unforgettable contemporary romance with Me Before You. This internationally acclaimed masterpiece explores the delicate boundaries of love, personal choice, and how two completely different lives can collide to alter each other forever.

Lou Clark is a young woman who finds comfort in the predictable rhythm of everyday life. She knows ordinary things intimately—such as the exact number of footsteps it takes to walk from the bus stop to her front door. She knows she genuinely enjoys working in the cozy local teashop, and she suspects, deep down, that she might not truly love her long-term boyfriend, Patrick.

However, Lou does not know that her secure world is about to be completely upended when she loses her job, forcing her to step far outside her comfort zone and accept a caregiving role that will change her trajectory forever.

On the other side of town is Will Traynor, a man whose life was once defined by adventure, success, and high-adrenaline thrills. Everything changed in a single, catastrophic moment when a motorcycle accident stripped away his physical independence and his desire to live. Now confined to a wheelchair, Will knows that his world feels frustratingly small and joyless, and he has made a firm decision about how he plans to put a stop to his suffering.
